My name is Mandy and I am the photographer of Sage & Bloom Photography. I want to thank you for participating in this model call! This is a huge help and great practice for this process I’ve been developing. I’ve been working on building a school photography side of my business. One that is way more modern and personable but just as time efficient and affordable as the big companies. Thanks for being my guinea pigs!

This is close to what a parent would experience. So pretend this is your child’s school photo day! In reality you would be receiving an email from your school, that I have sent them, and in the email would be a link to a this type of personalized webpage.
This webpage will have all of the information that you’ll need for the whole process. It will have dates, times, faqs, and will have a link to your galleries when they are ready.
Before Sunday I will need to get a list together of all of the children that will be participating so that I can go ahead and start building your galleries. Please fill out the form I have linked below. At the bottom of the form will be the model release. I plan on using these photos on my website and in printed and digital marketing and promos. I will NEVER share any personal information including but not limited to names, ages, schools, etc. Each child will have a gallery and you’ll be able to choose a single image from each gallery as a thank you for your time! You’ll also be able to purchase more photos or prints within your gallery. You’ll also get a 50% coupon you can use as well. My goal is not to make money here but to test out all of the aspects of this system I have been working really hard on.

What will the session be like and how long will it take?
The session will be super quick. I don’t know if your kiddos are anything like mine but they only cooperate for a short amount of time, usually. So, we’ll keep things short and sweet. I’ll write your child’s name on a small white board and we’ll take a picture with that, then we’ll take just a couple minutes for pictures. We’ll try the Ivory backdrop and the black backdrop so that we get a nice variety. If you have multiple children we can do a sibling set as well. And that’s it! Super quick and easy peasy!
If you need a bribe, I’ll have a treasure chest they can pick something from if they are good models!
What should my child wear?
Keep it simple and classic. Solid colors or simple patterns photograph beautifully. Think soft blues, creams, earth tones, or pastels. Avoid large logos, neon colors, or bold stripes that can distract or clash in photos or turn your child’s face NEON!
When will my gallery be ready?
Turnaround time is about one-two weeks following photo day.
What is the ordering process?
When your gallery is delivered you will have one week to place your orders and pick your individual photos. I’ll send you reminders in your email to help remind you! When you get your gallery favorite the photo you would like to keep and I will make a separate gallery for you to download. And the next day I will make a separate galley for download. You’ll get the color and black and white versions. I don’t have a better way of doing this so it’ll have to do! You can also send me a message if you’re done choosing. Here is my price list to give you an idea before you get your gallery. Your coupon will be emailed to you when you first sign into your gallery.
When will I receive my prints?
When the ordering window has closed I will put in a bulk order to my lab. Turnaround time is usually 2 weeks sometimes sooner. I will have them all sent to me to help cut down on cost for you. You’re welcome to pick them up or I can hand deliver them to you if you live in town or meet half way!
